Abstract Submission

The SIDDS 2025 Organizing Committee cordially invites you to submit abstracts for SIDDS Oral Presentation or Poster. All congress abstracts must be submitted online via the "Online Submission System”. Submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee. Abstract submission does not constitute registration for the symposium and presenters are required to register for the conference separately. Please read the guidelines carefully before submitting your abstract.

Steps for Submission

  • STEP 01 Sign-up or Log in If you are already signed-up on this website, you can use the account for your abstract submission.
  • STEP 02 Submit your abstract Fill out authors and abstract information and save button.
  • STEP 03 Confirmation Letter After your abstract submission, a confirmation letter will be sent to you via e-mail.
  • STEP 04 My Page To review or modify your submitted abstracts, Visit ‘My Page’ until the submission deadline.
  • STEP 05 Acceptance Notification An acceptance Notification will be sent to you via e-mail.

* Authors may choose their presentation preference. However, the Scientific Committee will make the final decision after review.

Submission Guidelines

  • Abstracts should be no more than 300 words. Word count only includes the text body of your abstract.
  • All abstracts should be written in English, including the title, abstract text, names of the authors, affiliations, and table, figure, or graph.
  • Authors may edit and modify submitted abstracts until the submission deadline. It is the responsibility of the authors to ensure the accuracy of the abstract. There will be no additional editing after the deadline.
  • A confirmation of the receipt of abstract will be automatically sent to the submitter, presenting author and corresponding author by e-mail upon completion of on-line submission. The contact details you provide must coincide with those of the presenting author and corresponding author, otherwise the presenter will not receive important information about the allocated session(s).
  • The right to publish your abstract is granted to the SIDDS 2025 Organizing Committee.
  • Presenting authors must register for the conference through the website by March 14(Fri), 2025.

Structure

  • An acceptable structure of an abstract must consist of the following components:
    Background/Aim A statement of the hypothesis or research question.
    Methods An explanation of the study design and experimental methods used.
    Results A concise summary of the major findings of the experiment or study. Sufficient data must be provided to permit evaluation by the reviewers and public reading of the abstract. Statements such as “the data will be discussed” are not acceptable.
    Conclusions Summary of the overall findings and the importance of the study.
  • Corresponding author's contact details: E-mail address
  • Name(s) of presenting author and co-authors: First name(s) or initials of first name(s), family name (e.g. Sam Lee).
  • Affiliation details of all authors: Department, institution/hospital, city and country. Affiliation(s) should be annotated by superscript numbers.

Tables, Graphs and Images

  • The submitter is allowed to upload a maximum of two items, which can be tables, graphs, or images.
  • The maximum file size of each graph/image is 500 KB.
  • The maximum pixel size of the graph/image is 800(w) x 800(h) pixel.
  • You may upload graphs in JPG, GIF and PNG format.

Notification of Acceptance

  • All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee according to standard review procedures.
  • Notification of acceptance will be sent by e-mail to corresponding and presenting authors by February 17(Mon), 2025

Withdrawal of Abstracts

  • The presenting author must register for the meeting during the period of pre-registration. If the presenting author does not complete registering with full payment by March 14(Fri), 2025, the abstract will be withdrawn.
  • If you wish to withdraw your abstract, please notify us via email until March 3 (Mon), 2025 at sidds2025info@medioffice.or.kr starting the title and number of abstract to be withdrawn.

Awards & Grants

  • Foreign participants (including foreign participants affiliated with universities or hospitals in Korea) can apply for both the awards and grants, but only one will be offered.
  • Award and grant recipients will be notified individually via email in February 17(Mon), 2025 before the congress.
  • Awards and grants will be awarded after the confirmation of the registration payment and participation in the congress.
  • Award and grant will be transferred via bank transfer for domestic recipients after the congress and disbursed in cash on-site for international recipients.
  • Recipients of any awards cannot apply for a Travel Grant.
