Congratulatory Message

Lawrence Kim, MD
President American Gastroenterological Association (AGA)
United States

On behalf of the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA), it is my honor to extend warm greetings to the Korean Society of Gastroenterology and all participants of the Seoul International Digestive Disease Symposium (SIDDS 2026).

SIDDS 2026 has established itself as a leading forum in gastroenterology, bringing together clinicians, researchers, and healthcare professionals from Korea and around the world to share knowledge, foster collaboration, and advance the science and practice of digestive health.

I am honored to deliver the Presidential Lecture at SIDDS 2026, and I look forward to sharing insights and engaging in discussions with colleagues from around the world. In addition, I am pleased to see the inclusion of the KSG–Korean American Gastroenterology Network session, highlighting the ongoing collaboration between Korean and American gastroenterologists. Initiatives like these strengthen professional networks, promote scientific exchange, and contribute to advancing clinical practice and research across our regions.

We are confident that SIDDS 2026 will inspire new ideas, foster meaningful collaborations, and contribute to improving patient care across our regions. We congratulate the organizers and participants on their dedication and look forward to continued partnership and shared progress in the field of digestive health.
